Navratri me Janajagruti - Local To Global
As part of the Navratri celebrations, a Janajagruti (public awareness) event was organized by GGUS Foundation and Innovation for Study Foundation in collaboration with KDMC, focusing on key challenges affecting the nation’s development. The theme of the day was “Support Local Business – Taking Local to Global,” aiming to inspire citizens, especially the youth, to recognize the importance of empowering local entrepreneurs and promoting indigenous products. The event emphasized how supporting local businesses not only strengthens the economy but also preserves cultural heritage and creates employment opportunities. Through informative sessions and engaging discussions, participants were encouraged to contribute to the vision of a self-reliant India by becoming ambassadors of the “vocal for local” movement.
The "Local to Global" concept is essential because it empowers local businesses and talents to reach international markets, boosting both economic growth and national pride. By promoting locally-made products and services on a global stage, we support small entrepreneurs, preserve traditional skills, and create job opportunities within communities.
