As part of the Navratri celebrations, a Janajagruti (public awareness) event was organized by GGUS Foundation and Innovation for Study Foundation in collaboration with KDMC, focusing on key challenges affecting the nation’s development. The theme of the day was “Anti Rape Campaign'' - The anti-rape campaign is a crucial movement aimed at raising awareness, challenging rape culture, and advocating for justice and support for survivors of sexual violence. It seeks to break the silence surrounding rape, emphasizing the importance of consent and the need for societal, legal, and institutional reforms. Through education, advocacy, and solidarity, these campaigns work to dismantle harmful myths, support survivors in their healing journey, and hold perpetrators accountable. By fostering open dialogue and pushing for systemic change, the anti-rape movement plays a vital role in building a safer, more respectful, and equitable society for all.
